| The kids took off all the caramel wrappers and put the gooey candy in a bowl. |

ReplyDeleteI don't think I ever had caramel apples until I was in college. It's a good activity to get in with the kids while they're still young.
ReplyDeleteWe had a lot of fun making the caramel apples. My daughter's favorite part was the warm caramel leftover after we finished dipping the apples.

my mouth is watering! I always loved caramel apples as a kid, with chopped salted peanuts on them. Nowadays the sophisticated epicure would use caramel with sea salt. Nice post and a good idea for the season.
