How To Make Caramel Apples- Perfect for the First Day of Autumn

My kids and I made these this afternoon! It's so easy!

MacIntosh apples
The kids took off all the caramel wrappers and  put the gooey candy in a bowl.
Pulled out the stem and replaced with a stick.
microwave for about 30 seconds and stir. repeat until all the caramel is melted.
if the caramel is too thick add some water
dip the apple in the caramel. Be careful the caramel is hot!
The kids added some sprinkles to their apples
walnuts on one
here are all four of the caramel apples we made. After you have dipped and decorated refrigerate.
